Limited Warranty Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Dermara Labs LLC (d/b/a Dermara) stands behind the craftsmanship of our devices with a 60-Day Limited Warranty. This warranty is separate from our Return & Refund Policy: a return is a request to send an eligible item back for a refund, while a warranty claim is a request to repair or replace a device that fails due to a covered defect.
1.What This Warranty Covers
Dermara warrants that its devices will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended cosmetic use for a period of sixty (60) days from the shipment date of the original order. During this period, if a device fails due to a covered defect, Dermara will, at its sole discretion, repair the device, replace it with the same or a comparable model, or issue a refund of the original device purchase price. This is your exclusive remedy under this warranty.
Covered issues include:
- Manufacturing defects present on arrival;
- Devices that arrive damaged due to a defect (not carrier-caused damage, which is handled under the Return & Refund Policy);
- Devices that fail to operate as intended under normal use within the 60-day warranty period.
2.What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, including drops, impacts, and cracked housings or lenses;
- Misuse, abuse, or use inconsistent with the device's instructions;
- Cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, discoloration, or plating fade from ordinary use;
- Damage from unauthorized repair, modification, or disassembly;
- Improper charging (including use of non-approved chargers, cables, or voltages);
- Water damage, unless the specific device is expressly marketed as waterproof for the relevant use case;
- Normal wear and tear, battery degradation over time, and consumable components;
- Loss or theft;
- Devices purchased from unauthorized resellers or without proof of purchase from Dermara;
- Damage from environmental conditions such as extreme temperature, humidity, corrosion, or exposure to chemicals not intended for use with the device.
3.Duration
The warranty period is sixty (60) days from the shipment date of the original order, as reflected in your Dermara shipment confirmation. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Dermara does not offer a one-year, extended, or lifetime warranty on any product.
4.How to Make a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim, email hello@dermara.beauty within the warranty period and include: (a) your order number and the email used at checkout; (b) the device serial number, where applicable; (c) a description of the issue; and (d) clear photos and/or a short video demonstrating the defect. Our team will review your claim and, if approved, issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with the specific return shipping address. Claims submitted after the 60-day warranty period will not be accepted.
5.Inspection and Verification
All warranty claims are subject to inspection. Dermara may verify the device serial number, the order history, and the reported defect. If inspection shows the failure resulted from an excluded cause (misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized repair, water damage, etc.), the claim will be denied and the device may be returned to you at your expense.
6.Return, Repair, or Replacement
If a claim is approved, Dermara will, at its option: (a) send a replacement device; (b) arrange for repair; or (c) issue a refund of the original device purchase price. Replacement devices are covered for the remainder of the original 60-day warranty period, not a new period. Devices returned under warranty must be shipped only to the address provided by Dermara with the RMA — units sent to any other address cannot be received or processed.
7.Warranty vs. Return Policy
The Limited Warranty and the Return & Refund Policy are separate. The Return Policy covers change-of-mind returns of eligible items within 60 days from shipment. The Limited Warranty covers device defects and failures within 60 days from shipment. A single order may be handled under one policy or the other, but not both concurrently for the same item.
8.Fraud Prevention
Dermara may request additional information — including photos, video, device serial numbers, and proof of purchase — before approving any warranty claim. Claims that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, misrepresented, or made in bad faith will be denied. Repeated abusive warranty claims may result in denial of future claims and account suspension.
9.Cosmetic and Wellness Use Only
Dermara devices are cosmetic and wellness products. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. This warranty does not cover any use of the device outside its intended cosmetic purpose or any expectations related to medical outcomes.
10.Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY DERMARA AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES — INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT — ARE LIMITED TO THE 60-DAY WARRANTY PERIOD. DERMARA'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL DERMARA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of certain damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
